Brother James has been the pastor at FBC DeKalb since 2013.  James is from Hooks, TX, and has served in churches in Texas & Arkansas since 1999.  James has a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M, Texarkana and a Masters Degree from Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA.  He is married to his high school sweetheart, Mindy who is a high school English teacher at DeKalb ISD, and together they have three children:  Whitt, Presley, and  Harper.

Bro. Russell has been at FBC DeKalb since 2008.  Russell grew up all over the state of Texas(his dad was a DPS Officer), but graduated High School from Shallowater, TX.  Russell is married to Becky and they have 5 grown children, and grandchildren

Sarah Joyce King  has lived and worked locally in De Kalb her entire life.  She worked as dance assistant and teacher at Angela Davis School of Dance  for 9 years,  as a preschool teacher at Maranatha Christian Center's Lil Sparks MDO program for 3 years, and as private homeschool teacher for 5 years before coming on staff as FBC De Kalb Kid's Ministry Director in June 2023. She graduated Year 1 of COTR's School of Ministry  earlier this year. When she's not doing kids ministry, Sarah enjoys teaching ballet classes at Elite Talent Dance in Idabel, OK, and spending time with her fiancé, Brandon.
